Nasdaq Basic Canada now available on SuperFeed

Posted 20th June 2019

Vela is the first feed vendor to provide access to Nasdaq Basic Canada, available from our normalized market data feed, SuperFeed.

Nasdaq Basic Canada allows users to consume Level 1 market data from Nasdaq CXC, CX2 and CXD trading books in a single market data feed. Nasdaq Basic Canada combines data from the three books for Canadian listed exchanges. The benefits are similar to Nasdaq Basic U.S., which provides investors with access to the full range of U.S. equities.

Vela’s SuperFeed provides low-latency, normalized data without the need for any client infrastructure and delivers high levels of performance, availability, and reliability. The addition of Nasdaq Basic Canada complements the more than 150 markets and data sources already available on SuperFeed, covering all major U.S. and European markets, a growing range of Asian venues as well as new cryptocurrency markets.

This feed is among several Nasdaq market data feeds that SuperFeed supports:

  • Nasdaq Basic Canada
  • Nasdaq Basic U.S.
  • Nasdaq BX TotalView
  • Nasdaq GIDS
  • Nasdaq Fund Network
  • Nasdaq Fixed Income
  • Nasdaq PSX TotalView
  • Nasdaq TotalView

SuperFeed is powered by Vela’s feed handling software, which supports all of the above markets as on-premise deployments or as a managed service/appliance.

Nasdaq Basic Canada is available from SuperFeed’s Equinix NY2 environment and can also be disseminated from SuperFeed’s Equinix LD5 site upon request.
