Expansion Continues as SR Labs hires BlackRock Alum Christopher Nagy

SR Labs, a global leader in enterprise grade market data and trading technologies, has announced the hiring of Christopher Nagy as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Nagy joins SR Labs with extensive knowledge in capital markets technology, networks and trading platforms from multiple roles spanning finance, strategy, corporate development and operations.

Prior to SR Labs, Mr. Nagy led the finance functions for BlackRock Solutions and Trading & Liquidity Strategies at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager. His responsibilities included financial planning, strategy and analytics. Before BlackRock, Mr. Nagy was Head of Strategic Planning at NYFIX, a Warburg Pincus company and leading provider of electronic trading and FIX messaging solutions. At NYFIX he supported strategic development and the 2009 sale to NYSE-Euronext.

In 2000, Mr. Nagy was a commercial lead on the founding team of Radianz, a Reuters owned company and pioneer of shared market infrastructure.  He remained on the Radianz management team holding various roles in pricing and commercial management through the sale to BT in 2005.

Mr. Nagy earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Emory University.
